The Beckford
Looking more like a country mansion than a typical inn, The Beckford is a superb Cotswold stone building with its origins in the 18th century. It is owned by Norman, Sue and Ollie, and offers all the facilities of a public house and restaurant, as well as comfortable hotel accommodation, with eight lettings rooms. It also makes a splendid venue for parties and conferences.
Three or four real ales, including a local brew, are on tap in the bar, along with a full range of other beers, lagers and cider. There is also an extremely comprehensive wime list. These can all be enjoyed on their own or to accompany a meal in the well appointed 85 cover restaurant, which is non-smoking.
British Food Fortnight
During the period 24th September - 9th October 2005 The Beckford will be offering a three choice, three course Special Menu consisting of local produce at a fixed price of £18.95 per head.
They also hosted The Bredon Hill Breakfast launching the fortnight with food given by local suppliers.
